A Ph.D. in Mk on employer branding together with her international experience in several corporations, place her at the forefront of her field.

Her professional career includes milestones such as managing globaly the Employer Branding and the Corporate Universities both in Santander Group and in Indra

She is also responsible for the start-up, management and positioning of DIRCOM (the n1 organisation for business communicators)

Of note is her position as general manager of Ogilvy and as global Communication and Mk Director at Universia

She discovered her passion for the academe in 1988 in California, acting as visiting lecturer at the University of the Pacific, whilst working on a Masters’ Degree in Education. Since then, her interest in the academic world has never wavered, and she has successfully managed to apply an integrating approach to her speciality in H.R. and Communication.

She extended her postgraduate qualifications at IESE (PDG), Stanford University and obtaining a distinction at the UCM for her doctoral thesis.

She has been at the helm Santander Corporate University, where she impacted in leadership and strategy training, as well as via the corporate schools of financial and risk management issues. Her many successes in the Santander Group have earned her the appointment of Deputy General Director.
She has been a member of the board of directors of the IABC (International Association for Business Communicators), of the International Board of EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) and of ECLF (Executive Corporate Learning Forum) and was chosen as one of the Top Ten most influential women in 2012 and in 2015
She actively works with NGOs such as Unicef, Plan International, Mundo Cooperante, and promotes corporate volunteering with the Red Cross.
